OOC: Carolina, happy to have you!

CC, you will not be allowed to come to the meeting as I am not going to stand for violence and you have made death threats to mine and other government leaders on here and on pm to me.

I am will make sure the boarders and city especially are fully protected for all attending and even invite some NCSA troops to work with my nations troops to make sure the security is at its highest.

absolutely and like I said, you can be part of the talks and what not, just to keep the pace and introductions and all the things that go with real diplomatic conferences there will be four main members. But I would love to have reps from all members in attendance

The Nation of Bamivo will be going under many changes soon. Adam Grand is in the process of ridding of the monarchy in place in Pittsburgh as well as convicting his older brother for treason of the regional government ( Even though he will most likely face no jail time). Jason Grand has called for a meeting of the nations of Gondor, Caos, WP, and Bamivo. All leaders are invited to come for Peaceful talks to figure out a way to better the region and stabilize some of the many problems that have been going on. He hopes all decide to join and awaits word.

OOC: This can be a very nice and official diplomatic RP. This meeting can also set an example on how we should all act all the time on here, that being in a professional manner. This is not about the UCA as I am done with it even though it was meant for rp purposes or to talk about negotiations of any sort, this is just to build relations and most of all set an example to the new members how a rp should be and how established nations treat one another. We have all made mistakes, that being said, it is never too late to start rebuilding and our relations and even ourselves. Hope to see you all.

Also, if you are another nation who feels you should be part of this conference that is fine and I am not meaning to exclude anyone so you may send people but for the goal of a clean and efficient role play and meeting I would like to keep it four main members leading the talks.

RP needs to be more real, far more and we need to have consequences for war. When a nation goes to war and they get messed up, they should have to role play getting out of the damage they have taken on and it should take a while. Congress should have to vote before the national MILITARY DOES ANYTHING TO A STATE. If the congress does not vote that a war or intervention of any sort should happen. IT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN We don't have a patriot act here so thats the least of what should happen.

I am just saying if we found someone who we all felt was the most honest person and respect the position and not who they favored, once he would make a decision when it came to war or role play it would be done, not arguing or anything. It would also allow for someone to provide a balance we can all get behind.

The SOI should be like our pope. The most honest and unbiased person ever. It would even make sense to treat him like a pope lol and the position should be for a real life year or even life.

We need a vote and many are not going to want to change because they feel like the time put in will be wasted or the effort will be wasted or greedy of all, they will lose their advantage over the many below them. But thats sad in many ways. We have a great forum site, great members and the foundation for something amazing. This does not need we need a new map or a new constitution but we do need hard reform in many ways IC and OOC. We should all treat the President in many ways like a true president, but we all have lost respect for order and realism here. If people don't want to change it would be like being extremely ill and just hoping it gets better on its own, which is obviously crazy but when people refuse to except reality or want to stay on top why the rest suffer, that will surely lead to people just leaving, not going and this region falling.

General Discussion / We Need To Change
« on: August 11, 2015, 12:30:43 am »
Listen, this is not directed at anyone specifically but we really need to make some changes. We are not near as organized as we should be, everyone wants to have things their way and it is just not how it works. We have things happening on the NS page and other things happening on here. We can not have a battle without one person disagreeing about what should or should not be allowed or what should count or what should not count. Clarity and organization are they keys to success, not just on NS forums but in life. We can't all be the biggest and best nation. Not only because it does not work, it is not fun because it takes way from realism. This is not about the civil war, that is just a rp thing for fun but we really need to take a step back because this is turning into a third grade class with the teacher not showing up all week.

If people want to have battles, that is fine but we really need to find out a way to have a specific system that makes it realistic. If the real world was like our forum, Vietnam would have been a 12 hour war in the favor of the US, but as you could see from history, the big guy is not always a guaranteed winner. War, battle, raids and everything should be closely looked over by a secretary of interior. And when it comes to sec of interior, it should be the most important position on this site besides the president and in many ways, even greater than the president because it is the referee.

Role play in itself has to be done more realistically and somewhat in a time frame. When a state decides to succeed or break a law, they would not just be thrown off the face of the earth. If thats how things were done, Iran, North Korea and so on would not be here anymore and instead we would create a cotton candy theme park in their place. I am not saying we need to be 100% realistic, but we really need to be close as we can because thats what makes things fun. If we are going to be a nation and not a world union, I agree, the national government should have more power and really states would not even have militaries. But if thats how we want things to be, there needs to be a large war or people have to given in an no longer have militaries.

Bottom line we should all take our egos down for a few days, sit around in congress, ooc even and put things back in order. I am not saying wipe our the government or change everything but as a manager in real life and as someone who watches the news more than anyone probably, this is not how any world would run. I was part of another region once a while back and it was amazing how well controlled it was and how realistic it was. I would wake up in the middle of the night because I would want to post something or had a role play with someone and wanted to see if they posted back. People are going to move from the NS page and see the chaos that is going on here and feel so overwhelmed and decide " screw it, not worth it." I have even came on a few times and was about to create a huge role play even just on my own for my nation and I have said to myself, "whats the point, it won't matter and it will just be shrugged off."

Just wanted to bring this up because, it is important to the survival of the region.

International Incidents / Re: NSCA meets with UCA

"They will freeze it for the time being but I need 100% guarntee that it is not possible that you will attack. Not any nation or the national military. As well as no law suits or entering of nations."

OCC: This needs to be made official that it will not be possible for the deal to be broken.

" It has to be all or nothing. Also, the deal would have to be official and ran through congress. If you say you agree to this deal, how should I believe 2 days from now you decide to attack? I need 100% approval and collateral that your will live up to your deal."
