Most of that area is also claimed; however, I can either give you the most Northern section of Maine, or a strip of New York next to Vermont.

Please look at the NCSA map for more info: http://ncsa.createaforum.com/map-requests/map-775/

The aircraft broke up and crashed over land; there is no chance of survivors. All that can be done now is try to identify the remains of the passengers.

All crewmembers' remains have been identified, and background checks reveal none had inside knowledge of the attack- as a precaution, Air Fortuna is suspending flights to Sparta.

Flight 83 has also been officially retired in memory of those lost.

Enduranca will continue the investigation on its own, but urges Sparta to investigate the organization that has claimed responsibility.

OOC: If other countries wish to have passengers/citizens on this flight, they may say so until capacity is reached. The aircraft was carrying 257 passengers and crew from Sparta City (or Honolulu if those were different) to Landfall; at the moment, I will say at least 100 passengers and all 15 crewmembers were Endurancan.

OOC Bump, but also:

IC:

Enduranca's Transportation Safety Agency has concluded that an onboard explosion was responsible for the downing of the 777 jetliner. Evidence now points to a suitcase bomb detonating, causing a loss of control and subsequent breakup of the aircraft.

OOC: There's no mention of your navy size in your factbook. And by Spartan marks, do you mean they aren't flying your flag?

IC:

In Secret:
431 miles above the Pacific Ocean
Sagittarius 1-A

The satellite drifted through quiet space, its lens peering down at the planet below. Right now, however, the satellite was focused on a mystery fleet in the Pacific, sailing north to Alaska. The satellite and its twin had failed to detect where the ships had come from, but their destination was clear.

The satellite beamed the images back down to the EFAF headquarters, where they were sent to the highest generals and admirals of the Enduranca Federal Armed Forces, as well as the President.

Presidential Manor
Landfall

President North peered at the images laid on his desk.

"And we don't know where they came from?"

"No sir," Marshal Xu Janssen replied.

"Could it be the Namenians again with that rogue fleet-"

"I don't think so." The other figure standing before the President, Grand Admiral Naki de Castro said. She tapped one of the outlines. "For starters, there are two carriers instead of one, but neither matches the DEN ship, or what the Akagi will look like.

"Not to mention several more battleships."

The President sighed, looking the pictures over; time stamps below each image clearly showed these ships were moving north, and in a hurry.

"We have any assets that can tail them while they're in international waters?" North asked.

"We have a Skinwalker attack sub in the area, sir- Fenrir." de Castro replied.

He nodded. "Alright. Tell them to shadow this fleet, but do not engage unless they are fired upon."

As the Admiral went off, North turned his attention to his phone, and began dialing. "Now let's make sure if this isn't another DEN trick, at least they know."

OOC: Wait, hang on. Is there mention of this space program elsewhere? These seem to be huge steps. The first mention of any rockets here are the missiles- and even then nothing about spacecraft- just a jump to a giant military space station in orbit.

And there is no way any spacecraft will reach the moon on its first try- at least realistically. This isn't Kerbal Space Program.
